Subordinated Debt

The subordinated desk (Bank Capital) has four sectors; lower tier 2, upper tier 2 and tier 1 in banks and an insurance sector. The main liquidity is in the insurance sector, followed by tier 1, lower tier 2 and upper tier 2. The ticket size ranges from 1 million up to 20 million, but it accommodates both smaller and larger amounts. Certain bonds trade on a daily basis, while there are others that don't get seen from one month to another.
