Established in 1974, Amanah Butler (Malaysia) Sdn Bld (ôAmanah Butlerö) is a joint venture between Amanah Capital Group and ICAP plc. Amanah Capital owns 45% of the shares while ICAP owns 31%. The balance is made up of minority shareholders.

Amanah Butler is a licensed money broker under the supervisory authority of Bank Negara Malaysia. Its principal activity is as an intermediary in a broad range of foreign exchange and interest rate products for all licensed financial institutions in the Kuala Lumpur money market as well as in the Labuan IOFC through its offshore money broking subsidiary, Amanah Butler (L) Ltd.

With a total workforce of some 50 staff, Amanah Butler is the leading money broking firm in the traditionally competitive Malaysian market.
