You need to complete our online application form for the business division to which you feel most suited. We recommend that you submit your application form as soon as possible as screening will start immediately.
Hints and Tips for completing an application form:
Do:- Ensure you know which business area you want to apply to and why
- Research before you write, give your answers some thought
- Show your knowledge and highlight the skills you have that would make you a good fit for ICAP
- Display your knowledge of the financial markets
- Be creative and complete every area of the application form - the free text area is an opportunity to really make an impact and stand out from the crowd!
- Remember the word count is there for a reason
- Check your spelling, grammar and sentence construction
- Demonstrate your motivation for applying to ICAP, we want to know why you want to work for us
- Provide one sentence answers and rush through details
- Cut and paste as it is obvious to the screener, especially when you forget to change the company name! Individualise your application
- Be generic or overly general with your statements to the point where it feels you could be talking about working for any firm
- Glaze over important economic facts or financial market conditions
